- An Ancient way to preserve water orientating from Northern Africa and also used by other Indigenous cultures of the world for over 4000 years ago. A Olla or wet pots, irrigation pitchers, irrigation pots is an unglazed ceramic clay pot, fired at a low temperature. The pots pores allow water to slowly seep though to the plants roots. This way the plants take only what they need, no more worrying about over watering, runoff or under watering your plants.
